On this page we have gathered some useful information for our members, including some recent changes and announcements.
Visitor & Guest Policy – Adult members and associates may invite a maximum number of 12 visitors in any membership year with a maximum of 3 visitors at any one time. The same playing visitor may not be invited more than four times in any membership year. When playing with a “guest”, please put this on the court booking system and email the name of your guest, along with date, time and court number, to booking@giffnock-ltc.co.uk.
Tennis & Squash court bookings are done via the online court booking system. A member can only book two slots per day (a slot is 30 minutes for tennis and 20 minutes for squash). Currently court booking is mandatory, members are not able to play without a court booking even if a court is free.
Coaching – We have an extensive coaching programme to suit all levels and playing abilities and it’s not only for kids. You will find coaching timetable for each sports section – Tennis Coaching, Squash Coaching and Hockey Coaching. Coaching sessions normally run during school term with camps available during holidays. All our full senior members can attend all sessions for free in their sport!
Tennis court lights are free to use with switches located just inside the back door to the Clubhouse (off the patio area). Members are reminded to switch the lights off after their game is finished if nobody else is booked on the court afterwards.
Senior member referrals – Introduce a new senior member to the Club and receive £25 bar credit onto your door entry card.
