Giffnock is LTA Club of the Year 2021
We are delighted that Giffnock Tennis Squash & Hockey Club has been named LTA – Tennis For Britain Club of the Year in the LTA Awards 2021.
Recognising our work during the Covid-19 pandemic, supporting members and our local community, as well as transforming our premises to make them Covid-19 Compliant – there’s no better way to look back on a difficult year for everyone than with this award.
Thanks in particular to Leon Smith OBE for his kind words and to Sally Boulton OBE, Chief Executive of The all England Lawn Tennis Club for announcing the award.
Congratulations to our friends Western Health & Racquets Club on winning Competition of the Year with an outstanding event, both in terms of participation and money raised for charity, again in the midst of adversity.
