Club Administrator

 

  Role:

  To assist Giffnock Tennis Squash & Hockey Club to continue its development by providing on site administration of its membership database, by providing basic bookkeeping services and by maintaining court booking sheets.  

 

Tasks:

 

1)      To staff the clubhouse from 4pm to 7pm , Monday to Friday, 48 weeks of the year in order to handle membership enquiries and to perform such administrative duties as the Club committee shall, from time to time, deem appropriate to be carried out.
2)     
To administer, while on the premises during the times described above, the Club’s membership – including subscription renewal and maintenance of associated databases.
3)      To perform book keeping duties on behalf of the Club, while on the premises during the times described above, in such fashion as the Club committee shall deem appropriate in order to deliver its annual accounts. 4)      To assist the tennis, squash and hockey sections to maintain their booking sheets and team player notices within the clubhouse.
5)     
To maintain order and discipline on Club premises, while on the premises during the times described above.
6)      As an incentive to attract new people to senior membership of the Club, 15% of the first years subscription paid by new members signed up by the Club Administrator will be paid to them as a bonus on an annual basis at the end of the subscription year, this to apply only to new members who have not been members of the Club in the preceding 4 years. 
A further 10% of the second years subscription paid by new members signed up by the
Club Administrator will be paid to them at the end of the subscription year where a new member attracted by them is retained by the Club.*

 

*      Where new members pay their subscription by lump sum cash or cheque payment, 15% of the total value of first years subscription paid will be paid as a bonus in March, following completion of the subscription year.  Where a subscription is paid by Direct Debit, following the completion of new members first subscription year and receipt of the final Direct Debit instalment, 15% of the total value of the first years subscription paid will be paid as a bonus in March following completion of the subscription year.  Where a new member, attracted by the Club Administrator , is retained to a second year of membership 10% of the total value of subscription paid to the end of this subscription year will be paid as a bonus in March following completion of the subscription year.

 

 

Salary:  
£420.00 per calendar month less employee N.I. and PAYE taxation, excluding performance related bonus payments, by electronic transfer on the last working day of each month.
