Isle of Man Junior Tennis Tour

Isle of Man report. The trip was a great success with Giffnock winning 22 matches and I.O.M only 4. Despite the overwhelming result the standard of play was superb and all the kids got very good matches.

I was particularly happy with excellent attitude on the court from our kids which is something Alan and I have been working on alot so I was delighted. Special thanks should go to parents who helped put trip together and came with us: Janice Campbell, Freda Bisland, Leonie Cook and Sheila Lang who helped in preparation for trip.

Many thanks again for the clubs contribution in support of trip.

Top Ten List of Favourite Tennis Tips:

1. Tie a rope around your pants before you get on the court.

2. Take all the pencils out of your pockets.

3. Wear underware at all times.

4. If you have to blow your nose, use a handkerchief.

5. Try not to throw up on the court.

6. Pay somebody not to keep score.

7. Ask before you join a twosome.

8. Go to the bathroom before you play.

9. If nobody will play with you, get your dog to retrieve the balls.
