Mini-Tennis (5-8 yr olds)
Giffnock is one of
few clubs to offer specialist mini-tennis courts. The smaller court size and
net height contribute to positive learning experience for the young player. On Wednesdays, Giffnock
provides mini-tennis coaching to members and non-members. There
are two mini-red classes: 4-5pm (5-6yrs) and 5-6pm (7-8yrs). Saturdays are
for members only and again there are two classes: 2-3pm (5-6yrs)
and 3-4pm (7-8yrs). At these sessions children will learn the basic
techniques and tactics of tennis, while having loads of Fun at the same
time. Starts Saturday 25th August.
All mini-tennis sessions are free
of charge to members. If you are unsure on the most appropriate
times for your child to attend, you are encouraged to call the coaching
staff for advice.
The combination of qualified
coaching staff and excellent facilities makes Giffnock the ideal club
start playing tennis.
